New York mayor slams NRA
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has criticized the powerful gun lobby group NRA. The occasion was an incident in which three policemen were shot. One of the gunmen was shot dead by a policeman.

"In recent weeks we have heard some people say that the only thing a bad guy with a gun can stop the right person with a weapon," said Bloomberg. "But sometimes the right person shot, and sometimes those slain."

Policeman Juan Pichardo was Thursday in his thigh shot at the car company of his family. He was at that time not to work. An hour later, two policemen were in civilian wounded when someone opened fire in a subway car. One of the officers returned fire and killed the gunman.

Bloomberg is one of the fiercest critics of the proposal of the NRA to school shootings such as those in Newtown prevented by armed guards at every school in the U.S. to place. The shooting at the school in Newtown took last month to twenty children and six adults’ life.

Last year, twelve agents in New York shot. All survived their injuries.
