Silver jewellery being affordable and attractive is present in every house nowadays. But due to humidity exposure, gradually with time, it gets tainted and turns black losing its initial shine. Vinegar- Make a smooth paste of 2 teaspoonful of salt, 2 cups of white vinegar and ½ cup of flour. Coat your jewellery and set aside for 15-20 minutes. Rinse under warm water and dry using a soft cloth.
Baking Soda- Rub your jewellery using a damp sponge with a paste of baking soda and water.
Gruel- Use starch water left after boiling rice to dip your jewellery in. Brush lightly and rinse off.
